EOS 1D MkIV firmware upgrade

I have downloaded this (1.06) the camera has 1.04 and cannot get the camera to accept it, it says there is no firmware on the CF card any ideas?

Only thing I can think of is to format the card then copy the firmware to the card again, Make sure you are putting the firmware in the right spot, you just open the CF card with one click and copy it to that spot not in any folders on the CF card. Also make sure you have extracted the firmware first and are not just using the downloaded stuffed file. Good luck, Ron

Did you extract the downloaded file and did you then copy the fir file to the root of the memory card?
