    Nice proud pose and the perch looks good too, Ken. I like the sky detail in the BG. Well exposed to keep detail in the darks and lights. I can see this as portrait crop by removing from the left.

    I like the look-back pose, eye contact and clouds in the BG. I would sharpen the bird a tiny bit more and agree on cropping a bit off the left and maybe add a little canvas at the bottom.

    Good detail of a spectacular bird Ken. A portrait crop would really suit this image well.

    very nice shot of my favourite bird Ken...I would slice some off the LHS but love the details here. I think adding a few points to the black channel in "selective color" would make the blacks a bit truer? how do you find the 100-400 performs with a 1.4x converter?

    I added some black but found if I went much higher then I lost some detail, as for the 100-400mm which I sold, it appears that it was better than I thought:confused:

    Gorgeous bird! Good sharpness and colors.I really like that you've got the clouds in the BG.
