Extremely well done! Detail and exposure excellent. Wonderful background color. I'd crop from the top and from the left a bit. The head angle is ever so slightly tilted away, but the rest of the image makes up for it. Good job! regards~Bill

As Bill said, very nicely done! I love the red tones in the photo. I would also be tempted to trim a bit off the top.

Lots to like here - that BG colour is gorgeous - Lovely fine feather detail and sharp as a tack.
HAP might want to talk to you, as mentioned angled slightly away from you.
I would crop a little from the top give it more of a pano feel.
looking forward to seeing more :)

The soft light and sharpness look very good as does the BG. I would only run NR on the BG. Do you have one in this series with the head slightly angled toward you?

Thanks everyone for the comments. I will run some NR and crop. Unfortunately i do not have any shots with a better head angle.

first thing that popped out to me was the noise. agree that a better head angle would be better, but this one almost gives it a pensive look. also agree with the crop. nice detail in the bird!
