    Default Canvasback in flight

    Hi folks,

I've been away for awhile, too long in fact. Life is like that sometimes.

Haven't been away from photography, however. A recent trip to the city of Erie in Pennsylvania resulted in several images of ducks in flight that I was happy with. Probably the best of the day was this male Canvasback.

    Canon 50D, 500mm f/4L + 1.4x, 1/1600 @ f/6.3, ISO 400, evaluative, manual exp., tripod.

    Comments appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Wonderful flight shot with good sharpness and perfect wing pose. Composition is great. I only would add a little canvas at the top so that the distant of the wing to the edge is as big as at the bottom.

Congrats on the flight shot with the 500 and 1.4X. My only suggestion is to cool down the white under feathers some. There is a lot of white there.
