    Camera settings:
    Model: Canon EOS 7D
    Lens (mm): 700
    ISO: 400
    Aperture: 8
    Shutter: 1/1000
    Exp. Comp.: +0.7
    Program: Aperture Priority
    Focus Mode: AI Servo AF
    White Bal.: Auto

Post production.... I cloned the beak to get rid of shine/reflection; used Noiseware Pro for de-noise; and, used Nik Color Efex Pro tonal Contrast plugin.

Without a doubt, the most photographed Oyster Catcher at the Surf and Turf Workshop (Al and Fabs) at Fort DeSoto. This was the first time I had ever seen one in the wild much less photograph one!. C and C welcomed.

Nice capture. I would crop some on the left and the whites of the birds side are washed out, perhaps burn them in slightly

Great stop-action. I like the background and the sharpness of the subject. The only suggestions I'd make are to cool off the white underparts a bit and perhaps back off the red saturation a little bit in the bill. The lighting of the underside of the near wing (presumably reflection from the water?) makes this one a definite keeper.

Like the flight pose and HA, Bg is nice and smooth, wing position is ok but it would have been nicer if you had top view with wings down . Bill looks over-saturated and feather details look soft especially in the head area possibly due to NR.

A very nice shot overall, TFS
