    Although we see plenty of ibis here in southern Florida they still take my breath away at sunset. Their beautiful white plumage almost looks like mother of pearl as the soft light hits the feathers. It is a real treat to see them come in to roost for the night.

    Love the light...exposure, sharpness, crop all look great.

    Also...I kinda like the head shadow on the underside of the wing as it adds direction of light and dimension.

    Just enough separation between the tip of the bill and the leading edge of the wing to make it work well Judy.

    That is beautiful lighting and technicals are superb. Details in the shadows still show. I like the colors in the composition -- the warm whites and the pastel sky.
