    Here is another rim lit Great Egret from Gatorland. I looked into B&W but did not like the results. I also brought up the light on the bird's face a bit but did not like that either. :confused: This was my final rendition.
    C&C appreciated.

    this one is working a lot better for me than the last one. and i think it's all got to do with the light on the bill. this is kinda like an artistic nude. just enough detail to make you have to think about it. nice job, kristin!

    Hi Kristin Does look better and would be great if you had some detail/color on the eye area? Sweet Keep working these type images !!!!

    I like this, we will be there in 2 weeks and hope to get a shot as good as this. Really like how you can see a little detail around the edge with the feathers.

    Hi kristin....Like this much better than first post. I agree that just a hint of an eye would really make this image. As is I still like it alot!

    I like what you are trying here Kristin, I think the back lighting is lovely.
