    Finally had the chance to for an outing in what seems like ages!! This Red-breasted Nuthatch was an obliging subject on this day. Audio used to located and attract it closer, then seeds used to get it ti land on selected perches.

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @320mm, aperture priority, evaluative metering, 1/1000s., f/7.1, ISO 400, -0.3EC, natural light, handheld, about 90% of full-frame.

    Nice light here, sharp, well exposed. Like the composition and colors of BG and foreground elements. Nice to have the bit of orange debris in LLC. What a big foot!

    Great sharpness, eye contact and perch. I might raise the color temperature a bit and find that the dark band at the top competes a little with the bird.

    Love that bill pointing up, a little snob, huh?
    Great detail in the plumage. Viewing on a laptop so I will not comment on sharpness, a very subjective theme.

    Very nice image, I like the bird but the rocks are excellent with
    amount of plants and colors just right.

    Great colors, detail and exposure. He surely has big feet for such a little bird.
