    Hi Everyone,
Hope you had another great weekend. Here is another shot of my favorite Short-Eared Owl from a couple of weeks back. Not much luck in finding him lately. Guess he has moved on for the season.
    Camera Stats: Canon 20D, 500L F/4 Lens, 1/000sec, F/5.6

    Have another great week,

    Steve

Hi Steve - this one really has an eye on you!! The owl looks a little soft on my monitor and I would have liked some fill-flash to help balance the harsh side-lighting.

    Hello Steve,

Very dominant subject. The light gives a nice mysterious feeling to the image, I also would love to see one image using fill flash. Perhaps adding a little more sharpening would help bring more details.

Gorgeous short eared owl with such stunning eyes. I too would like to see a little fill flash in this image so as to bring out some more feather detail and a touch more USM. If you have nore canvas a bit more room at the top and to the left would strengthen this capture. Lovely image Steve and I am sure it was very exciting to see him. Thanks for sharing
