    white cyclamen against white foamboard bg, indoors, natural light, 105 mm macro, 1/2 sec., f16, iso 125, tripod. pp in ps7, desaturate a bit, some details brought out usih topaz detail.

    Anita, I love the delicate texture of the petals, and the detail on the stem.

    Anita, Thank you so much for the camera specs. Much appreciated. I love this one. The Cyclamen can be a challenge to photograph. I think you have done a great job w/ the color toning and fine details. Nicely done.

    Love the image design, the lighting, the COMP, the details, and the diagonal stem. Was a bit disappointed in the color; is that the natural color?

    thank you. yes, i grow it indoors during the winter. it is the onle flower that reliably grows indoors in our coolish house.

    thank you. see my answer to jackie, above. i photograph many of my flowers in my study, see here http://www.flickr.com/photos/34370937@N07/3378921738/ for set up--cat not required. i like to photograph flowers i grow, though i also visit other gardens.

    thanks for comment. this was pretty much the natural color--i did make some changes--just don't remember. i would like to know what disappoints you and what you would like instead.
