    Good afternoon everyone, Hope all is well with you and your families. I've little experience with songbirds, but Alan Murphy's CD has gotten me motivated to try. Here's a black capped chickadee captured during a light rain.

    400mm, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/250s, fill flash, cropped from top to 8x10 format

    Very nice photo with an interesting colour for bg.
    I like the nice pose. and sharp where it needs to be.
    There might be a bit of noise in bg.

    I agree with Dave's comments - I'm not usually a fan of snapped-off wood, but it seems to add to this image imo

    Good job getting one of these to sit still for a picture -- I am not sure what the background is -- but I would prefer a more nature like color for the background

    Thanks for the feedback guys. The background is a portion of my neighbor's house across the street. I'll have to try this again when the dogwoods are blooming and try for that as my background. I think the shade of pink is nearly the same.
