Mark, Nice composition and effects. I'm wondering if a tiny bit more contrast would work. Nicely framed.
Very nice composition, Mark. I like all the negative space and the placement of the bird. I might add a little more room on top and take off a little on the bottom. Agree with Denise that a little more contrast might be nice too.
You have a great eye for minimalism (as well as abstract). Agree with the others about a little more contrast. Especially against the strong black border. Kora
Nice image Mark, you do have an eye for these types of images, enjoy seeing them...would also like to see it a bit darker/contrast
Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.
Attached is an attempt at a darker image. I was having trouble getting contrast without a great darkening of the BG which bothered me. I think I sovled the problem though. Hopefully, it comes through as I see it here. ;)
As for placement of the subject Christopher, that is intentional. While it could be centered vertically, I prefer the 1/3 placement for this image. However, I appreciate your comment, it is an alternate vision.
Oh I do like this better, Mark. A standout! And to me the placement is perfect. It takes the eye on a journey.:) Kora
Repost looks great, Mark. Added contrast did the trick. :)
Thanks for reviewing. Appreciate it.
The added contrast for some reason was a real bummer for this image. The one posted today was similar and took a lot of work to get what is there. But ... makes for interesting images! ;)
Like the repost a lot Mark. I do feel that the wings get a bit close to the inner frame and might want to expand that border, but as you say... :)
