Sharpness and takeoff pose look great. I might tone down the whites and wish the head angle were parallel to the sensor.

Well timed for the take off Judy, and good detail from the top. I like the placement in the frame, with plenty of room to fly into.

Love the wing details, trailing sharp talons and placement in frame, and the snag. The whites need to be tempered just a little, IMO. Good portrayal of take-off motion in this, Judy!

Nice capture, Judy. Great take-off position, and love the composition (I might have cropped in a tiny bit more but that's my personal taste). Almost got the perfect head turn - just another degree or two would have been perfect. Concur on the whites.

    Really good timing Judy.
I actually don't mind the ha. There is a bit of a look back pose from the eagle so it seems all right to me.
    I like the composition.
I might be tempted to take a bit of the protruding branch off which is not a big thing either way.
    Good for you.

Among all the other things, I like the placement of the bird in the frame....which is not easy for flight shots. Well done.

Wonderful pose and great composition. I like the bright colors and the wonderful blue in the BG.
I agree with Axel and also wish the head was more parallel to the sensor but this is a wonderful shot as presented.

At least you got the head not totally turned away, as they usually do when they take off so they can see where they are going.

Very nice action captured, Judy, plus good sharpness and detail. Given the orientation of the bird, the head angle doesn't bother me at all - I like it as presented. :) The whites on the head and rump look pretty bright on my monitor. I would wish to see a little more of the snag at the bottom, though that's not an easy thing to pull off when you are concentrating on the bird flying up and away.

This is the one when I was fooling with my settings. You caught the only good action. Congratulations, Judy.
