Location: India, Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary
Tech Specs : Center weighted metering, iso:200, f/8 , 1/500 sec, ec: - 1.5
Although the background is darkish the bird 'pops' right out. I think it is well composed and focussed.
What camera and lens did you use?

Sharpness, angle and BG look very good. I might tone down the whites a bit more, remove the lower catchlight and sharpen the perch a bit less.

Nice, well exposed image on excellent BG with perfect head position. Very well done. I see a slight sharpening halo around the beak.
