Another composition in Ron Dongen style... this is a red hibiscus I took using a Canon G11. Applied Topaz remask2 followed by multiple adjustment layer for b/w conversion, levels, selective color and color balance respectively. Added the border and changed opacity for the final effect. Hope you like it...

I do like it very much, Indranil! Love the unusual positioning of the hibiscus, and the delicate toning. On my monitor though there seems to be a distracting little white spot above the stamens. Maybe I'm the only one to see it. Kora

Indranil, I do like the results of your processing very much. I might like a tiny bit more room on the left if you have it. Just a small very, very faint halo around the petals on the right. I think you got the color toning perfect-which is not easy to replicate. Nice border.

Hi Indranil, Nice white on white look. I like the composition and color toning. Personally would like to see the stamens a little more in focus.

Agree w/a little more room on the left and sharper stamen. But, I love your toning and comp. Your contrast is perfect and the edge work is nice and very subtle.

Hi Indranil. I love the overall effect and the tinting! It does appear that capture focus was on the petals in the ULC. Would be nice to have the stamens in focus then tapering off into that corner, since the eye is immediately drawn to them. Excellent composition!

Thanks Kerry... agree, the focus is off and it needs a bit more work...
