Default Coot entangled in fishing cord

This poor Coot got entangled in a fishing cord. Probably one of those large feet of his/her.....Fortunately, he/she was able to get free pretty quickly. This cord was there in the water stuck in something I guess. I didn't see anyone with a rod there.

I clicked and got a few frames. No time to get a lower angle :-) Hope you like it.

Great action shot. The pose of the feet is great. Excellent exposure on this difficult bird.
Very sad to read about the cord. We put too much crap in the environment!
I hope the bird can free itself.

I like the water splashes and those red eyes really stand out.

Cool pose and splash. Good to hear that he freed himself. I would tone down the whites on the bill.

Superb action and timing. So glad to hear that it was able to get away from the fishing line. Many thanks for sharing ,

Glad to hear he made hjis escape! Nice photojournalism shot. I like the feet in the shot....it makes me understand how he felt trapped by the fishing line.
