    Default Juvenile Caracara with prey

    Caracara eating some other birds foot! I was able to get with in 15 feet...shot from the ground on my belly!

    Nikkor 200-400mm F4 lens

    Really makes you wonder what happened to the prey? Looks as big as the caracara based on the foot.

    Nice light, well exposed, sharp, good shooting angle. Just a bit tight for my taste.

    Please post your camera and setting details, helps with the critiques and learning.

    Nicely done, colors, exposure, sharpness..agree its a little tight in the frame...

    Wow, I'm glad that the prey was not wasted, but at the same time, I feel a little ill. I think that the story would have been just as well told had you pulled back a bit. But nice and sharp and colorful.

    Amazing behaviour picture! That foot! You got really close, i saw you were on 280mm i would have zoomed out a bit or step back a bit.

    I think the talons on an eagle's foot would be a lot larger than this Bill.
