    I've been following your series and let me tell you that I love the description of your location :)
    Knoe a few of those myself ;)

    I wish you'd included the techs like s/s, aperture etc so we can make an educated critique.
    You have a flare for getting the wings in the right position.

    Obviously your bird had more important business than worrying about HA. Love the grub, wing position, the claws peeking out in back and the BG (looks like early spring tree blooms? Please don't tell me it's an old beat-up Chevy). And yes, terrific timing. The tail blur is a little irksome, but overall, a lovely piece of work! If you have room to move a bit to the right and turn your shooting angle more to the left, you might be able to catch your bird slightly more head-on to improve the effective HA. You evidently have a pretty good fix on their usual flight path.

    Great job! Love the background. This is my favorite bird. And while you wait...my resident pair's first brood will be hatching next week-end! :)
