Another Trumpeter Swan coming in for a landing on the Mississippi River at a wintering site in Minnesota. 40D, 300 f/4 + 1.4X, 1/1600, f/7.1, ISO 400, NR on background. Hand held using a BushHawk. All comments welcome and appreciated.

Steve, I like the frame placement and the framing isn't too tight or loose. I also like the angle of the body in relation to the corners. I'm on my netbook at the moment but from what I can tell the exposure is right on. As far as any improvements I don't really have any, it looks good to me.

Very nice pose, EXP and placement in the frame. Good detail in the plumage and sharpness, way to go, Steve.

Good looking landing pose Steve and nice and sharp.
Photo really shows the bird off well.
Our Tundra Swans are pretty much mudders and not nice and clean like this one. Good job on the whites.

Good job on the whites Steve, and I like the underwing detail. I always enjoy these banking incoming shots. Well captured.

Neat pose, good sharpness, angle and eye contact. It is not always easy to get an interesting pose with swans but this one works really well.
