Ofer....you were really good five years back too I must say. Wow....this is spectacular. The symmetry in head turns makes this very special. Lovely perch and liking its diagonal entry a lot. A tad more room on top is my only wish. I should not be commenting on the whites from my office laptop...but they seem a tad bright. But lets see what others say.

So beautiful. I love the colors, symmetry, composition, lighting and sharpness of this picture. There is nothing I don't like about it.

SWEET! I do find the whites on the lower right a tad too bright. Everything else is just lovely.

This is really nice. The symmetry from the two birds is great. Love the diagonal formed by the perch and the birds in the nice open spot makes this really sing. Nice image.

Awesome shot. Great perch, wonderful composition. I like that both birds are looking exactly in the same direction.

Beautiful image, Ofer. Sharp, well exposed birds, with nice feather detail. Like the diagonal perch. White flowers a bit bright for me, but very minor.

Hey Ofer --I almost missed this one. This is eriously fantastic! All together very pretty. very sweet. A suggestion: The flowers are large and beautiful and bright--all these things add up to domineering elements. Looking at this on a 30 inch monitor at 2560 I would say crop two fingers wide off the right side and to counterbalance that move just a tad off the left.. And there's just a bit more territorial negative space there IMO to be necessary for balance. Things get a little heavy on the right side IOWs. A totally lovely shot my man!

    * I wasn't going to repost the shot, but I started wonderig how good my thoughts were-or not, so I went ahead wth a cropped version.

Thanks for taking the time Paul.
However, I am not crazy about your repost. I always try to keep the 2:3 ratio which for some reason feels balanced in most cases. In your repost the close to 2:3 ratio turns closer to square and I find it less pleasing. Having said that - it is really a mattaer of personal taste. ;)

The more I look at it the more I like the xtra flowers on the right with your crop Ofer. They are so very beautiful it's a disappointment not to see them. So sometimes the tweak idea looks good-- sometimes it don't.:)

I love both pictures. I thought that the original one really complimented the birds. Both objects are beautiful. I am not a pro but the composition on both pictures is superb in my opinion.

Wonderful capture! I can't think of a more beautiful perch and with such exquisite birds. Love the identical HA's, beautiful colours, bg and pin sharp.:)
