    I wanted to try posting this image in the Macro forum to see what the experts thought. I photographed this Agave flower with my Canon 5D MK II on tripod. ISO 200, f/2.8, 1/250 sec, EF100mm Macro f/2.8L IS USM, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, No Flash. Comments Welcome.

    Lovely image Richard. Great perspective and beautiful colours. I'm not an expert on flower macros and will leave it to the others to comment on comp.:)

    Wow...what a visual experience, Richard! Love the colors and the diagonal placement in the frame. I think the only thing that might have made this even stronger would be if the angle had left those top rows a little shorter on top - but this is still very sweet!

    wonderful image. Love the colors and how you positioned the focus. very nice composition with the diagonal placement.

    I feel this is a very pleasing image. The way it's presented it has a certain abstract component to it. Very nice colors and contrast.
