Love the action, and the birds are well-framed, so it doesn't matter that the sky is plain. Sharp birds, using high shutter speed. The right hand bird shows a less than optimal head angle, but with an action picture it's hard to be perfect. I would be very pleased with that image.
Osprey focused on a fish is not distracted by another osprey close by.
