    I went out looking for Snail Kites on Saturday.
    This one was kind enough to pose for a photo.

    Good find, angle and light. I wish the bird were angled toward you and I might sharpen it a bit more.

    Hi Bill Can also run a soft brush over the bg to smooth out a bit then increase contrast on the bird a bit more. Did come up with a clean bg and fine looking image !!!

    ... btw I like you kept the aperture wide open to minimize the bg !!!
