    I photographed this Agave flower with my Canon 5D MK II on tripod. ISO 200, f/2.8, 1/250 sec, EF100mm Macro f/2.8L IS USM, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, No Flash. Comments Welcome.

    Hi Richard - you always manage to come up with different and intresting compositions.
    Like the colours and the use of the limited DOF.
    Looks like some kind of Lolly Pop.

    Like your DOF Richard and the colours, I am almost thinking of a crop w/o the stem, jut a thought. Like it a lot as presented too.:)

    Jackie, I tried cropping without the stem, but didn't like it. The I tried shortening he stem and I think I do like it. Your thoughts?

    Yes I think it looks more balanced with less stem:)
