The original image was much more grey.

LR2:
Clarity 38
Saturation Orange 30
Saturation Blue 98

This changed the original look and feel and does not show reality (there was no blue) but I like this version more.

EOS 7D, EF 3.5/180L, tripop, f5.6, ISO 200, 1/80.

I had to put my gloves on the branch behind so that it would hang lower than the leaves. Resulted in cold hands :-)

Simple and lovely. I think your decision to change the color of the BG was a good one. The BG could some NR but other than that, you did a great job.

I like the comp and the snow on the leaves but the BG is way oversaturated IMO. Any time you add more than +20 in color you're really taking a chance on getting a blotchy BG. You might try using the brush tool to even it out a bit unless, of course, this is the look you were going for.
