Taken in the Kalahari. This herd of springbok posed beautifully. I loved the light on the grass.

    (Technical details to come soon!)

sjoe Isak! this is one of the Kalahari images that all of us wish we had taken and every trip we go there we look for this kind of opportunity...

I'm green - the light on the grass, rim-lighting on the Springboks and the overall mood is top class. I agree with Al on cutting some off the bottom, just a tad.

also looking forward to the techs!

Really lovely shot. Great feeling of place. Agree about the light on the grass (including its symmetry) and on the Springboks too. Spot on. Like it as-is and as more panoramic - any which way you like!
Not sure if you could have brought the background into sharper focus, or even if it would have been desirable (would love to know the answer, if there is one).

Agree - very well done. Good example of when centralizing the subjects can work.

Splendid. great rim lighting and none of the springbok heads merging with each other. like how the lit grass merges into the garkness in the FG. I like the frame as-is. A crop from bottom might make it too pano. And it will eliminate some of that FG darkness. Hats off. IOTW candidate IMO.
