    Default Western Reef Egret - Cold

    Got this chap on a cold winter morning. The sun was hidden by clouds and there wasn't much to click until this chap turned up. Could probably do with a round of NR but I liked the feel of this image more than anything else.

    Canon 50D with a 500 f/4 +1.4 TC. Clicked at 1/13 shutter speed and f/6.3

    Rahul, noise does not bother me a lot in this. But yes, one round just on the BG will make it better. Main thing this shot needs is a bit of rotation I think.

    Nice soft light, framing, exposure and sharpness. Never seen this bird. Thx for sharing.

    I like the light Bhai, nice compo and details, yes could sure do with one round of NR on the Bg, still works well..

    This is quite loverly. Is it Western Reef Heron or Western Reef Egret. Even though the bird is angled slightly away, the head angle is very good, almost perfect. I love the SH and the soft light as well as the image design.

    Very nice image. Low angle, great eye contact, and a good head angle.
