Default Red-shouldered Hawk Attacking Barred Owl

Osceola County, Fl - 1D4, 300mm+1.4xTC, hand held from boat, 1/2000, F7.1, ISO 800, manual exposure

I know it's not the most visualy pleasing photo, but I thought the action was pretty cool.

Very nice nature shot -- I like the action. What was the end result -- did the owl survive?

I have seen Hawks and Owls attack each other on many occasions. I have never seen either party get injured. It is mainly just an attempt to drive the other bird away.
