    Default New from Australia

Hi everyone. I'm from Perth in Western Australia. I'm a keen birder. I took it up about 3 years ago more by accident than by design. Now I go out almost every weekend, either along the river near my home, or to further locations with fellow birders. I enjoy the "thrill" of coming across something new, or observing different behaviour. Even if I don't come away with the shot I'm after, I always learn something new.

You have an excellent site here with some great resources. I look forward to settling down here for a while....

Hi Mate, the decision to settle down with BPN will be the best photography education decision you will ever make!

There are a bunch of us from Oz; even have a Moderator on the site from Horsham, Vic.

We have done a couple of swings through WA with our home/caravan before I decided to pursue birds and wildlife. The next time I am going to be in your neck of the woods I will give you a yell.

Look forward to seeing your images and you becoming a member.

Be sure and check out Artie Morris' BAA books - solid gold.
    Cheers, Jay

My Digital Art - "Nature Interpreted" - can now be view at http://www.luvntravlnphotography.com

"Nature Interpreted" - Photography begins with your mind and eyes, and ends with an image representing your vision and your reality of the captured scene; photography exceeds the camera sensor's limitations. Capturing and Processing landscapes and seascapes allows me to express my vision and reality of Nature.

Thanks Alfred and Jay. And thanks for the tip on Artie Morris' BAA books. I've bookmarked his site and will peruse it later. Any time you're in Perth, let me know!

    Cheers, Frank
