    Default Wyoming Sage Grouse

Taken early this morning outside of Worland, WY. The Sage Grouse have begun their seasonal strutting rituals. Still early the females have not arrived on the Leks yet so the males have it all to themselves. This allows time to sort out there differences and assert dominance before the females arrival. Low early light is always a challenge especially with these lightning fast bursts of energy.

I love the wing blur, and the sharp heads. I would tone down the whites and might rotate it a bit.
