    Another image from my trip into the nature reserve close to my house. The BG is natural as shot.

    Hand held from the car.

    Wonderful image with a lovely BG . The bird is in superb plumage . The perch takes attention off the bird IMO :)

    Uh, That is really a good one, black, red, white. Difficult combo.
    The plant is great too, BG perfect. I wonder if you have more of the plant
    to try a vertical crop. Ii think it will work here.

    Super image Stu. I don't find the perch distracting at all and think it is beautiful. Love the colours, detail and bg as well. When I get a big lens one day, I'm coming for lessons!:)

    I love the setting and the BG.
    Light is a bit stong.

    Another image with a clean, smooth background that throws the attention on to the bird. It is pity that the vegetation obstructs a small part of the bird. The black on the back of the head looks a bit too dark on my monitor.
