    Hi Troy, I like the sharpness and DOF, though I think the shadows are a bit distracting especially on the rear of the bird. Looking forward to seeing some more.

    Tough lighting situation I would assume.
    I really like the wing position (especially the curve by the feet) and the color of the bird is nice.
    There seems to be a sharpening halo under the neck and bill and feet. Agree with above comment that the feet are too dark (may be a result of sun angle). Also, some of the bill detail is lost in shadow.

    Hi Troy - looks like Deborah and Kurt are keeping you honest :)
    Agree with their comments - halo is quite noticeable. Like the soft pink tones.

    Hi Troy

    Might want to reduce saturation in the blue !! btw light angle makes a huge difference, look at the legs !!! Did well with exposure and tracking the bird .... btw would also crop a little top and bottom for proportion and accentuating the forward movement !!!

    Thank you Al. Finally got shots of this beautiful bird. I will do a lot better next time.
