I took this unposed picture a couple years ago at a local park. The girl turned out to be a regular there who most weekdays brought food for this goose particularly, and for other birds as well. I've always liked the concept I captured. But this was before I knew much about digital photography, ignorant of ISO and EV, for example. Well, the image out of the camera is awful . . . and the water in particular looks terrible. I masked and changed the water in PSE in an effort to improve things (and did lots of NR on it). Did I come close to making this "charming" scene acceptable?

Colors are still weird, the composition is very nice though.

I am on work monitor but did you change white balance or color temp? I might set everything to default and AWB and reprocess, let's see what others think. Love the simplicity of the moment.

Hi Wendell - colours look a little weird to me as well.

I love it! The goose is obviously waiting with great patience and dignity for his handout. I can just hear him gently clearing
his throat as a polite reminder to his benefactor to hand it over. :D

Looks like a green cast. Here's a shot at adjusting ...

David, David, David, I hope you're not tired of being praised for your PP skills. Thanks!
And my thanks to all of you "critiquers"; would you believe I saw no problem with the color until you pointed it out for me . . .

Thank you. Here's my layer stack. Curves for overall color; that took care of the color cast. Then selective color applied only
to the grass, to darken and enhance greens a tad. The other selective color layer tweaked the water a little, taking out more
    of the green reflections.

Richard thanks, and I can't think of anyone I'd rather have clean up after me . . .
