Very nice habitat image KD. Excellent job considering the overcast light conditions and black subject.

    Love the scene aspect.

I might tone down the yellows a tad and bring up the shadows..especially on the side of the face...just enough to get a little detail there (it looks like there is detail).

I think that sharpening the eye a bit and the bird a bit more as well. I realize it's wet and fairly smooth but the dead vegetation to the right gives the appearance of being sharper than the subject to my eyes.

I like the low angle and habitat in this well composed image!

I like it very much, the bird is great, nicely exposed, reeds on right look good too.
I only wish the feet were fully visible, that would make it even better.

Great low angle and comp, Kaustubh. I love the colours and the textures with the damp plumage. Shadow/highlight can open up a bit more detail on the face and linear burn on the beak can bring in a bit more detail. Well done.

Kaustubh, tough characters to expose correctly, but you have succeeded very well, especially on the blacks. Typical habitual shot, with him building his island.

To my eye you have perfect exposure, and I love the environmental comp in this shot. Personally I wouldn't change a thing.
    Cheers
