This capture was taken at Joe Overstreet Landing on Friday. It was a gorgeous , peaceful morning and the gulls were sosring up above and the lighting was wonderful., Although we see these birds so often there was something special with the lighting that morning and I got a little carried away.

Glad you were going after gulls Judy I do like them a lot Got a beautiful diagonal pose with a very appealing sky Fully flared tail and good eye contact !!! Can only suggest to have the bird brighter Will have an even greater impact Big Congrats !!!

It is always a fun challenge to make an extraordinary image with an ordinary subject. Something I should pay more attention to when I start getting sick of gulls and canada geese. Very well done.

Nice capture Judy. May be common in your neck of the woods but we don't see these very often in Australia!

Very nice capture Judy. Wonderful wing position and light in this one. Our gulls are not this pretty....usually. Too many with missing feathers and legs. :-(
