All I can say about this past week is - WOW! What an incredible display of abstract images. I counted 42 entries and I have looked at them many times. Definitely not an easy task to pick the best, as they are all strong and interesting, but here goes! I went with five winning places this time.

First place - Red Hot Pokers by Kora Baker I kept coming back to this image. Excellent use of the black background, colors, and effects. Congratulations Kora!

Second place - Old Man in a Palm Tree by Mark Fuge Great eye for the abstract in nature Mark!

Third place - Fade to White by Jackie Schuknecht Super use of the minimalist concept, which allows the viewer's brain to fill in the image!

Fourth place - Black Skimmer Abstract by Nicki Gwynn Jones Love the brush stroke look and the monochrome textures.

Fifth place - Winter Color by Christopher Miller Very nice look Christopher! The colors and subtle brush stroke textures make for a wonderful abstract.
