Uncommon image of a common bird. Beautifully oof background, well-placed, and sharp!

Hi Ryan- Nice pose, head angle and sharpness. You still have a magenta cast problem here, although not as prominent as in your last post. LAB colour correction or other means can remove it. If you are working in RAW then the Tint slider will do the trick for you.

    Nice photo Ryan.
I am looking forward to trying to get a nice photo of a Robin as well this year.
It looks like there is a bit of rain falling and I might clone out the few streaks.
    Nice low angle.
I wonder if a bit of cw rotation is required.

Great angle on this shot, Ryan! I like the composition, pleasing BG, detail and sharpness in this image.
    Very nice.:)

I like the angle and eye contact. I find the surrounding colors a bit bright and the bird has a magenta cast. Did you run NR on the plumage?

Thanks everyone! I will fix the color cast, as I agree 100%.

Axel, no NR applied. Does it look soft to you?

It does not look soft, it might be a DOF issue. It looks as if the critical focus is on the head/bill but DOF was not wide enough for the entire body.
