    Default Tawny Eagle Take-off

This was quite an interesting sighting. There was a buzz of commotion as a bunch of Carmine Bee-Eaters, Fork-tailed Drongos, Glossy Starlings and Tawny Eagles converged on the same spot as there was something lying on the ground (which wasn't visible) but which obviously served as food for the raptors and lured some flies for the others.

I know the BG is a bit busy but such is the African bush, I am still happy with the detail and pose I achieved.

This is the darker form of Tawny Eagle.

    All comments welcome...

Morkel, you 'nailed' it, that's all that matter now. The BG etc can follow in time. It's in flight, good detail, nice pose. Well done!;)

Great forward wing position, and love the turned head, obviously looking at his food. I dont mind the busy BG, but the vertical branch between the wings distracs a tad. Still, well timed for the take off mate.

I like the take-off pose, sharpness and wing position. I might blur the BG a bit more as it competes with the bird.

Tough shot to nail AF Morkel, did very well do wish for a less busy BG.
