    Default Bluebirds in Love

I finally got a chance to see some Eastern Bluebirds through my viewfinder:p:)Whoohoo!
I used a Foto Sketcher oil painting effect along w/ a Topaz Simplify filter. Then selected the bird duplicated it and flipped it horizontally. Added some eggs w/ the brush tool. Tried to get the perch to look like a nest.

This is excellent, Denise. The base image is beautiful. Beautiful colors and nice use of filter. Everything in this composition come together very well. Very well processed.

Fantastic, Denise! Changing the perch to a nest - what a great idea! The colors are deep and beautiful - they really draw the eye into the image. Lovely technique and VERY creative!

Lucky you D! Love the warm tones and very good PP work to create the eggs and I would have thought it was a nest!

I am glad that you got some bluebird images. I love the effect here and the BKGR. I would love to see a version with the birds a bit farther apart, and without the eggs :).

Could you post the original here: I would love to see what you started with.

Artie, Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Here is the original image that I started with. (I have not processed this image yet, aside from cropping it)

The mirroring works beautifully, denise. And turning that frail-looking perch into a nest was inspired. Only thing I'm not so sure about is the eggs. The original is a lovely capture. K
