I started working on this and used so many filters it was ridiculous. I probably could have done a couple and
ended up with the same thing. I'm not crazy about the crop but wanted to include the dark radiating lines so settled for the crop I have. I used Nik Efex Solarization first, then plastic wrap, Nik bi-color filter, Pinch, Ink
outlines, Distort>wave, then pond ripples, then find edges and finally fractalius glow 100.:p

    Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Excellent, I love it. I can understand your thoughts on using so many filters as I went through the same thing on my first using more than I could count.

Thanks for sharing your outstanding creation.

    Nice image and application, Cheryl.

As for the filters, we've all been there and done that! :o ;) Sometimes it takes us on a journey of discovery though, so when it happens to me I just save different images as I progress and see where it leads. If it goes too far, I just step back and use the last worthy image.

It has a cool look Cheryl. I wish the Pelicans were a bit larger in the frame, I guess a crop would work. I like the vibrant colors and the wave look.

Beautiful! I love the colors in this. I see why you cropped it the way you did but I'd honestly look at cropping just above that bold line at the bottom and let those pelicans have a little more presence in the frame. Still, even with this bigger crop, it's a very cool image!

Here is it with a tighter crop. I hated that they were so far away:)

Nice work, Cheryl. Like the colors and flow to this. The tighter crop looks perfect!
