I'm a 66 year old, soon to be retired pathologist. I dived into photography 2 years ago. I'm on the near vertical slope of the learning curve. My wife Lynn and I live in southeast Idaho, with easy access to the Greater Yellowstone area. We have been birders for years. I look forward to improving my photography and post processing skills.
You are in one special area, hope you can get to the park often !!! I drove from Jackson to West Yellowstone through Iowa this January and never seen so much white in my life (driving north on 20) !!!
Alfred, thank you for the warm welcome. I am having some difficulty navigating the web site. I have posted a couple images which I would like to have in the Eager to learn image critiques forum. Computers are not my long suit. Your help would be appreciated.
All that white stuff you saw in Jan. is gone from the low lands but still covers the mountains. We need a lot more of it. It is our water The snow pack is about 50% of normal.
