    I originally cropped the bottom to eliminate the ground but thought it would be better showing where the kicked up dirt came from.....comments on that? Not as clear on wing details as I would have liked but the one eye exposed over the wing really does make it interesting.....and one eye is better than none - right?

    I like the eye peeking over the wing and the "kicked up dirt" adds to the action. I would cleanup the blades of grass just to bottom-- left of your copyright

    I like the running pose and the eye peeking above the wing and would tone down the highlights and sharpen the bird more.
