    I captured this image of these Elk crossing a small channel yesterday morning near Creston, B.C.


    Model: Canon EOS REBEL T1i & Sigma 50-500mm
    Shutter Speed: 1/1000 second
    Aperture: F/7.1
    Focal Length: 226 mm
    ISO Speed: 800

    Hi Brent.

    That is a very interesting image with the rough waters and still water together and with a reflection.

    If they had been running towards you that would have been something special.

    Great idea and scene and very, very attractive, whatever else. Beautiful scene and well spotted. I want to shout "shoot a little lower!" but I guess it's too late now? :) As it is, did you try cropping from the top to divide it more evenly into thirds. For me, that looks really good.

    Thanks for your comments Paul. This is pretty well full frame so no cropping. If I could do it over again I would have zoomed out more. Live & learn :)

    Really nice capture Brent, I think the repost is a big improvement, I would have liked just a little more room on the bottom. :cool:
