Like the wing stretch and eye contact, sharp and nice claws, beak has merged with the wing and there is noise in BG. would desat the sky a bit. TFS

    Brent:

Good points by Arash. Very nice wing and leg position. The merging of the head with the wing isn't ideal, but the color difference at least helps the head stand out, beak less so.

There is a soft halo around the bird. I might consider just a bit more room top and bottom. It also might be worth trying to tease a bit more detail out of the shadow areas.

Great take off pose of one of these guys - I agree there is some noise in the sky but easy to fix. Overall very nice. These guys can be very skittish so nice job.
