    Jeff:

    Well chosen shutter speed to give a very sharp eye, but blur where needed to communicate the movement going on.

    Nice exposure. If possible, a lower shooting angle might have helped minimize the impact of the mud.

    Great subject. The eye ring looks very sharp. A lower angle would suit this bird well.

    Beautifully done. As mentioned above, it's sharp and blurry in all of the right places.
