    Beautiful shot, Jim.
I love that spread tail. The lighting and sharpness are superb.

This is a pretty sweet shot Jim. Great detail, pose, and a nice golden color tone. One of my favorites of those you've posted.

A cracker jack of an image, Jim. The remnants of his meal on the beak top it off.

The lighting is just so perfect, and the background is beautiful! I especially love the contrast and lighting on the wing and tail feathers.

Absolutely stunning light and action here, Jim. Was out photographing these the same morning but they obviously preferred the warm afternoon light to the morning 30's wind/cold. I noticed the red on the beak. Did you bait him or was this from a roadkill?

I love the inclusion of the green vegation.

    Marina,

This is an early morning shot from Wednesday, March 3rd. The CC was feeding on a deer carcass in the road.
