    Default Weekly Theme: Er, perhaps

Greetings. Was shooting for abstract... perhaps, not quite there? Chiaroscuro & OOTB, anyway ;)

Painting with filters, blending, NR (for effect), sharpening, glowing edges leads the way (picked out the in focus parts of the shallow dof image).

    C&C appreciated.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Lovely work Michael, I like the mood you have created here with the chiarascuro. Just might evict the rock/bird on the RHS. Really like it.

The focal point you created with the illumination really holds my attention. I like the rock or whatever rhs. it's enough to draw my interest but the birds are so strong they draw me back. :). Kora

I like it. The play on dark and light is quite interesting. Nice mood created. Maybe not an abstract but the vision is there. I agree w/ Jackie and would evict the( rock?) since I can't quite make out what it is. Nice image:)

Michael - love the lighting and textures. I think I'd prefer it without the rock also.

    Folks,

Thanks to all for the comments... The foreground object is another Avocet (will clone out to print)...

    Cheers,
