Simply brilliant Ken. Just love the pose, dreamy look enjoying the sun, and the colours are stunning. Great image Ken.

    Lovely eyes Ken,

Dreamy indeed and a nice colour. Great BKGR and nice and sharp at 1/200.

I would lose some from the RHS and if necessary add some back on the LHS to balance the image and move him off centre.

    Hello Ken,

What a wonderful picture of this Cheetah with a gorgious light! The composition is really well done with the feline well anchored to the right lower corner. The blurred bg enhances very well the animal whose eyes reflect so well the eye contact with you...

Great picture for a great cat!!!

    Thanks for sharing!

As others have said Ken, it's the light & BG that make this fine portrait.
Agree with Austin on the cropping to take it off centre.

Thanks for your comments, this cheetah was very close sitting on the top of a termite mound, if I remember correctly the 10D did not have selectable AF points or if it did I did not know how to use them, hence the central position. Nevertheless with the benefit of the wonders of modern technology I have done the above repost.

Lovely image. I like the original composition, as its head is turned towards the photographer. I have used the 10D. It had 7 AF points. Each individual point can be manually selected. I always liked the files out of the camera.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
