All comments welcome! I am especially interested in composition and does not the blue sky look too saturated?

Hi Bob - looks like some sweet light!! Love how the feathers are illuminated on the Adult - Pity the RHS wing is behind the tree.
IMHO - there is to much negative space on the LHS - My eye keeps being drawn there - I would crop heavily from the LHS.

Then if you were so inclined you could clone out the tree on the LHS - ADD SOME CANVAS and recreate the right hand wing parts that are missing (From another frame if you have it) Starting from something like this maybe??

Sky was too saturated for my tastes.

Hi Lance....Thanks for the cropping suggestion. I was thinking framing when I took the shot but I see what you mean by too much negative space drawing the eye. .....Like the repost....As far as reconstructing the wing on the RHS I do not think i have the photoshop skills yet for that!.....maybe one day. Thanks again!

Sweet repost Lance !!!! Big Time !!! With special images like that I fully agree on the effort needed !!!

btw for the wing reconstruction you can use the one you have and flipped it around, does takes time and effort. In O'toole's CD will have detail how to !!!

Great nest !! Jim has lots of different nests in his area and will always get you an excellnet chance at one !

Hi Bob, I like the pose of the landing bird. I also like that you can clearly see the head of the other bird. Your exposure looks pretty good to me s I see details throughout. I liked Lance's suggestion. So I gave it it try to see how it would look. I cropped from the left and then added canvas on the right. Using techniques form Robert O'Toole's APTATS 1, I used the right wing to fix the left. I had to reconstruct some of the nest using elements from the original image. I did this quickly. With the original file, more time, and a little more attention to detail this could be done better. This kind of editing isn't for everyone but I OK with it as long as one reveals what they have done. Thanks for shaing.
