    The background, sharpness, and exposure are good, but it looks like you were well off light angle, and as a result the eyes lack catchlights and the left side is a bit dark. You might try selectively lightening the left side. The water drops add a lot.

    Bert:

    I think Aidan hit the most important point. The light angle. The feet and tail feathers look nice, as they were well illuminated, but the speculum and head aren't shown to their full advantage.
    The drops are nice, like the wing position, BG colors complimentary.
